RAMQ- Quebec Health Insurance Board

The hearing aid program of the Régie de l'assurance santé du Québec (RAMQ) covers the costs related to hearing aids and hearing aids if you are eligible. The program covers the purchase, repair and replacement of a hearing aid.

CNESST- Commission for Standards, Equity, Health and Safety at Work

People who have deafness and a history of exposure to noise in the workplace can take steps with the Commission for Standards, Equity, Health and Safety at Work (CNESST).

Please note that even if you are retired or the company you worked for has closed its doors, you can take steps to have your hearing loss recognized as an employment injury. However, you must have contributed to the CNESST du Québec plan.

VAC- Veterans Affairs Canada

This program for Veterans can cover the cost of hearing aids as well as assistive hearing aids.

SAAQ – Quebec Automobile Insurance Society

If a person has hearing loss caused by a road accident, this can be, under certain conditions, covered by the SAAQ.

Some private insurance can cover the cost of your hearing aids. It is important to contact your insurance company directly to see the coverage offered and the eligibility conditions. At the hearing clinic we can help you with the procedures with your insurance.
